Picking and transporting on two levels
The N20 D double-deck order pickers enable the simultaneous loading and transport of two pallets. Thanks to the ergonomic lift, the operator can also pick heavy goods at a height that is easy on the back. The two separate levels allow heavy and pressure-sensitive goods to be stowed and transported. The operator platform is fully suspended and therefore reduces vibrations while driving.
Characteristics
Safety
To reduce risks while driving, all edges of the robust steel chassis are rounded. Speed is automatically reduced when cornering. At the front of the forklift truck there is a steel bumper, which can optionally be supplemented by a rubber layer. Since the battery is located behind the operator platform, the driver always has a good view of the storage environment. Optional front LED and the Linde BlueSpot also provide visual notification of the truck. The Linde steering wheel protects the hands and centers itself when driving straight ahead. It only needs to be moved slightly to steer and can also be operated with one hand. When the load is lowered, the fork automatically stops 30 centimeters above the ground and the rest must be lowered from the operator platform. This prevents the operator from accidentally placing a foot under the fork.
- Rounded edges
- Automatic speed reduction in curves
- Steel and rubber bumpers
- Self-centering steering
- Safe fork-lowering mechanism
Ergonomics
The low-lift order pickers have a low access height of only 13.7 centimeters, which makes frequent entry and exit easier. The wide, U-shaped design also facilitates access from both sides. For very short distances, the operator conveniently controls the truck via pedestrian operation, from which the initial lift can also be operated. When reversing or when the driver gets on, an additional handle on the backrest ensures optimum support. The Linde steering wheel and the backrest with fold-out seat are optionally height-adjustable. The entire platform is spring-loaded to minimize vibrations and shocks.
- Low and wide access
- Pedestrian function operable from both sides
- Additional handle on the backrest
- Spring-loaded platform
Handling
Depending on the drive mode, the 3 kW three-phase AC motor accelerates rapidly to a maximum speed of up to 12 km/h. Thanks to the ergonomic lift, operators can fill two pallets simultaneously and transport pressure-sensitive goods separately. The Linde steering wheel offers a special innovation: It enables the intuitive execution of all driving and mast functions and is easy to control. When driving straight, the self-centering steering system ensures shorter distances between two picking positions. An initial lift function facilitates transport over ramps and bumps. The multifunction display informs the driver of the current status of the forklift truck. Optional lithium-ion batteries are available for even more efficient charging - even during breaks. Shelves and compartments ensure that the driver always has their documents at hand from all positions.
- Powerful 3 -kW three-phase AC motor
- Intuitive Linde steering wheel with comfortable power steering
- Initial lift function for transport over ramps
- Clear multifunctional display
- Shelves and compartments for equipment
- Ergonomic lift enables the transport of two pallets at the same time
Service
Linde keeps service costs down with low-maintenance components: The three-phase AC technology is completely maintenance-free and there is no need to readjust the brakes. A service check is only required after 1,000 operating hours. The service technician has free access to all main components and can easily open the motor cover. Cable harnesses and cables are clearly arranged. Truck data can be quickly read out on a notebook via a CAN bus connection and provide information on failures and error messages.
- Maintenance-free three-phase AC technology
- Adjustment-free brakes
- 1,000 operating hours without servicing
- Fast diagnostics via CAN bus connection

Linde Fleet Management
The fleet management system from Linde is used to manage the truck fleet. From maintenance scheduling to documentation of the maintenance and repair history through to access control.
Front LED
The LED light is located in the front and has a high level of brightness. It is water- and dust-proof.
Load backrest
An additional protection for driver and load is the load backrest, which can be adapted to the height of the load.
Linde BlueSpot™
The Linde BlueSpot™ route warning system increases safety in operation, as the LED spot makes trucks silently visible.
Lithium-ion battery
The innovative lithium-ion technology means that the batteries can be fully recharged in around 1.1 hours at room temperature.
Pedestrian controls
On both sides of the forklift truck there are pushbuttons on the lift mast. The driver uses them to operate the order picker from the outside and walks alongside at the same time.
Lateral battery change
The lateral battery removal by means of roller bearings enables a quick change, especially for use in multi-shift applications.
Rubber bumper
The rubber bumper reduces shocks in the event of a collision, thus protecting driver, forklift, and infrastructure such as racks.
Accident monitoring
Whether driving errors, uneven surfaces, or improper forklift use - a shock sensor registers shocks. The evaluation of the data via the fleet management software provides information on the cause of damage and accidents.
Access control
Access control via the connect fleet management system ensures that forklift trucks are only used by authorized persons. The driver must identify himself by PIN or RFID card before the forklift truck is started.
